14 Mar Fit Fix 1 Day Event – Fun, Food & Fitness!
The countdown has begun… Fit Fix, brought to you by Kathryn Thomas and her Pure Results team, is a celebration of all things fitness, food and fun! This one day event will take place on 13th April 2019 at Leopardstown Racecourse.
Here’s what you can look forward to at Fit Fix 2019 (we’re keeping a couple of things a secret though).
First things first – we’ll be enjoying a flavourful brekkie from our friends at Flahavans who have proven that breakfast really is the most important meal of the day. They have been around for over 200 years and aim to continuously share the compelling health benefits of oat-based products with you. Not only nutritious but delicious too, their overnight oats will leave you feeling satisfied and full of energy to get your groove on, just in time for our first activity of the day.
The activities will kick off with a cardio jam session – POUND. This fitness fix is inspired by the intense energy of playing the drums. Fun and energizing, this workout is an amazing way to kickstart your day!
Other classes to get your heart rate pumping
At Pure Results, we’re all about a balanced lifestyle. So even though you’re going to want to dance all day, we’re going to encourage you to try other classes and engage in workshops throughout the day. We have planned a combination of high and low-intensity classes for you throughout the day such as Boxercise, HIIT, Bands & Bells, Zumba and yoga.
Your guide to bio hacking
Dr. Daniel Jones from Revive Active will be at Fit Fix, to enlighten us about bio hacking. He will present his guide to effectively ‘hack’ human biology through diet and supplementation to achieve peak cognitive and physical performance.
Happy hour AKA “lunch time”
By now, after a couple of these sessions, you’ll have built up a fairly decent appetite – just in time for lunch. This is not to be missed. You’ll be treated to a healthy, delicious spread, with vegetarian and vegan options available. Sit down relax and enjoy gorgeous views of Dublin Mountains from the pavillion.

Brian Keane will be joining Kathryn Thomas for a Q&A where he will be discussing how we rewire our mindsets to help reach goals and achieve body confidence.
Cooking demo with Pure Results chef, Erica Drum
Chef Erica will give you insight into some of her favourite, easy-to-make recipes that our Pure Results clients enjoy on our retreats, along with some ideas for healthy snacks that can keep you sustained in your busy week!

Following an HIIT class, Physiotherapist Sinéad Delahunty will be ready share ‘Pure Move’ with you – a great guide to movement & mobility.
Clothing drive in aid of Focus Ireland
We are also delighted to have partnered with Focus Ireland, and will be running a clothing drive at Fit Fix in aid of Focus Ireland ‘Beloved Stores’. Focus Ireland are working hard towards eradicating homelessness in Ireland. We ask that you please bring any used and retired athletic or gym gear (leggings, sweaters, shoes etc) to donate to Focus Ireland, forming part of giving back to the community.
