1 What is the main focus of the Pure Results fitness retreats?
It is possible to eat well, be healthy and have tasty food. We cram your meals with good stuff so you lose weight and stay nourished. That means colour, variety and dishes bursting with flavour. More than a temporary fix, we want to set you on a healthy path that you can keep up post bootcamp. You’ll feel revitalised, detoxed and ready to take on the world!
It doesn’t matter if you’re fighting fit or falling behind, we welcome people of all fitness levels. Our varied fitness programme mixes high-intensity workouts with low impact classes so you can burn those calories without burning out. It starts and ends with you, so the more you put in, the more you’ll get out of it.
We combine exercise with life coaching, nutrition workshops and cooking demos to achieve a more rounded approach to your wellbeing. Our goal is to help you feel more confident and empowered to take on new challenges and succeed. We help you reassess your goals and tap into your vision and purpose, to live a more meaningful life.
2 What’s the difference between a week and a weekend retreat?
Our weekend retreats are ideal for those looking to kick start their healthy lifestyle and for those fitness fanatics looking for a different type of getaway. The package includes an overnight stay and two full days of activities as well as nutritious and delicious meals throughout your stay.
The exercise classes include a range of high-intensity classes; boxercise, circuits, kettlebells, body balance, yoga, aqua aerobics and everyone’s favourite, the assault course! With our core focus being fitness, nutrition and well-being, clients experience all aspects of health and wellness.
There is certainly a lot packed into the weekend so it is intense but also enjoyable from start to finish.
Our seven day retreat is a truly immersive experience centered around weight-loss. Clients can focus solely on achieving their goals and optimizing their health and well-being. This all-inclusive package includes seven nights accommodation, all meals and snacks, a consultation with our head nutritionist, day trips to some of the best national parks and adventure centres in Ireland and a range of high intensity and low interval fitness classes such as boxercise, circuit training, our famous assault course, metafit and yoga. In addition, there is a selection of well-being education sessions such as life coaching, cooking demos, nutrition workshops, and mindfulness classes. Clients also leave with a two week aftercare program to guide them with their meal planning and exercise regime to help keep them on track once the retreat is over. .
Our seven day and seven night retreats are held in two great locations on the Wild Atlantic Way; Parknasilla Resort & Spa, Kerry and Mount Falcon Estate, Mayo. Our two day and 1 night retreats are held in The Johnstown Estate, Meath.
3 What kind of food will I eat while at a Pure Results Bootcamp?
Our diet on camp is primarily wheat free, sugar free, dairy free and caffeine free. We also cater for vegans and vegetarians (or any food intolerance/allergy) and all of our meals are made using fresh, organic fruit and vegetables. Guaranteed to be utterly flavoursome and super wholesome and is usually client’s favourite thing about camp!

4 What does a typical day look like?
Every day is different and brings another new exciting experience. You’ll be so busy having fun with your new found friends that you won’t notice the pounds melting off and the muscles toning up.
7am : Rise & Shine
We like to take full advantage of the beautiful surroundings of our retreat soe’re up early and ready to go with stretches and light jogging.
We’ll ensure every fitness level is catered for, to maximise your results.
8am : Breakfast
The weekly diet is wheat free, sugar-free and dairy free. There is no caffeine or alcohol, to ensure complete detox. You will eat three meals and two snacks every day which is sufficient to help you train to the best of your ability.
9.30am : Crunch time. Abs & Core
Our specialised trainers keep you on your toes and working hard.
10.30am : Snack & Pitstop
Take some time to get fueled up.
12pm : Team building & lunch.
Team building activities are so much fun and a great way for clients to get to know their peers on camp. We will have you moving but you won’t even notice the calories burning.
2pm : Afternoon hike
There’s so much to explore and enjoy in picturesque parts of Ireland so we want you to experience it! Hill walking, trail running and hiking around one of our superb locations will ensure you’re still working out while enjoying the natural beauty all around you.
4pm : Get hooked
Our boxing classes are one of the most popular with our Pure Results clients. Put on the pads and punch your way to a sleek, defined body. Boxing improves your speed and reflexes thanks to the high-intensity cardio and muscle-sculpting moves. With Katie Taylor as our national inspiration, what are you waiting for?
6pm : Dinner
A nutrient-dense, tasty, calorie-considered meal is prepared by our nutritionists and onsite chef. Your meal is created individually for you, to ensure you reach the goals set in your pre-camp consultation.
8pm : Evening activities
Every evening will be spent relaxing. From wellbeing coaching to yoga techniques, motivational talks, to night-kayaking, our aim is to equip our guests with some new thinking and lifestyle ideas.All of this is completely optional, you can take part or just chill out in your room.
5 What level of fitness do I need to be at in order to attend?
Our classes are suitable for all levels of fitness and everyone pushes themselves as much as they possibly can. There is no competition between clients and everyone is there to improve their current level, be it weight loss, maintenance, strength and conditioning, toning or all of the above.
In all of our camps we have people of all ages, sizes and abilities – from 16 yrs – 65 yrs young!
